11.18.11 - Black Headlight Bezel

These are the bezela ordered from CSE Offroad.
A before picture with the OEM chrome bezels.  YUCK!
A picture after installing the black headlight bezels from Rugged Ridge.  Not bad for a cheap mod.

10.22.11 - Air Filter

This was what the air filter looked like after I removed it!  It looks like it has not been changed out for quite some time.
Well good old Acadiana Dodge was selling the MOPAR air filter for 34 bucks!  Also got the foglight relay so ended leaving that place 60 bucks poorer!  On the brighter side of things the foglights now work and the Jeep is breathing easier.

10.20.11 - Milk Jugs

This is before I got rid of those ugly milk jug bumper end caps!

And this is after I installed the new MOPAR end caps.  For those that care, the part number is 55078138AA for the front and 55078139AA for the rear.  You will need 2 of each.  Stay from from the stealership... Amazon has them for 20 bucks for a set.

10.15.11 - First Oil Change

This is the first oil change as the new owner of the TJ.  The odometer actually was at 45,235 when this oil change was taking place.  The Mobil 1 will stay in for probably a few months (with limited driving) before I switch all fluids/oil to Amsoil.  BTW, the previous owner must have not changed the oil in awhile.  :(

10.2.11 - The Garage

This is how the garage sits today.  :)

10.2.11 - Learning the 5-Speed

So this is Jones' first attempt to teach me how to drive a 5-speed vehicle.  Yup, I bought it not knowing how to drive the TJ.  This was where I tried to reverse and almost went forward into that yellow post at a park near the Lafayette airport.  Didn't realize I was on an incline, so I gave no gas hoping to just coast backwards.  LMAO!

9.30.11 - The Project Begins...

Purchased a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport from Gramercy, LA.  Thanks Vodka!  The previous owner was the only owner since the TJ was purchased new from the dealership.  Approximately a few miles over 45k when purchased.  Decided to just start the blog to keep track of the progress I make.  You can also see the front-end of my daily driver in this picture!  My DD is a 2010 FJ Cruiser TRD.
